Hi,I like your cartoons you posted although I think your or the cartoonist of the tea party is a bit confused.I think making cartoons like that don't help to pull people towards the liberal politicians as I don't think people are as unintelligent as liberals think they are. This is a big reason why tea party republicans are winning across the US. Just sayin.
Ha! The broom-limo! Love it. So, who is her chauffeur? Harry Potter?;-)
Ha! Another great selection. I'm kinda hoping Christine O'Donnell will write a tell all potion book.I'm always looking for good recipes!Ha!
Joanna: Hi, and thanks for stopping in. And thanks for leaving me a comment. I'm not an American but living next door in Canada we, of course, are heavily influenced by US television, economic policies, news and politics. Not unlike Canadians, I think many Americans are tired of the status quo when it comes to government. In the US much of that dissatisfaction has manifested itself in the creation and popularity of the Tea Party. It's happening, here, in Canada to a lesser degree. But whether you're on the right or left - or even in the center - editorial cartoonists give us an opportunity to think about things from a bit of a different perspective and more often than not it results in the ability to laugh at ourselves. That's why I run them every Sunday. I think we need to laugh at ourselves more often.
00dozo: Ha, ha, ha. Good one! Love it.
Quirks: Would love potion #9 be among your elixirs?
Love the cartoons, especially the froggy one - ribbett.
Linda: Hey, there. Yeah, sometimes change takes time.
What gets me about the Tea Party is it's made up largely of old white people who are sucking at the tits of social security and Medicare while railing against government. And they don't see any contradiction there whatsoever.
Jayne: There's a real distaste out there for the status quo, isn't there. CBS did a fascinating piece on the Tea Party a while back. It's here if you're interested...http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20002529-503544.html
