Some Thoughts I've Laboured With

Today is all about workers. It's the day we celebrate their economic and social contribution to society. In other words it salutes megalomaniacs because it's all about us, isn't it! It's also the day after which one does not wear white. Unless one is Canadian and visits Florida in January to go golfing. Why do we celebrate American or Canadian workers today when almost everything we buy is made by some guy in China? In Canada, we spell labor l-a-b-o-u-r. That's because we're big on sheep here. Son: If people are not working, shouldn’t we call today ‘No-Labor Day?’ One seventh of your life is spent on Monday.  However, the only person to get his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe. Monday is Labor Day, and I understand that Paris Hilton is dumping some of her boyfriends this weekend. Paris k...
