I concur with all of them, except for No. 4. My wife and I actually like Glee.

No, really.

UR: Turns out so does Osama, I guess. Good choice!

Thank the gods it's over!

"Crabby Road" - hahaha.

All funny, as usual.
Wait...the only reference I can find online was from a spoof site: http://newsarse.com/2010/01/25/osama-bin-laden-accidentally-records-himself-singing-along-to-tv-show-glee/

You and your fellow bloggers (rolling eyes ;) keep mixing up reality and fantasy that sometimes it's hard to tell what's true and what's not.

So true or not true? Give me sources. :)

I'm actually glad somebody cleared up the Glee question hovering in my mind.

I especially liked: I vented. And Crabby Road.

Most excellent!

00dozo: Yeah, I liked that one too!

UR: But that's the fun of satire. Some of it's true and some of it's...well, embellished.

I liked this cartoon because the cartoonist put together two thinks I don't like: Osama Bin Laden and Glee!

Quirks: This week the interwebs were full of cartoons about the mid-term election results. I think the cartoonists are happy they're over too, like 00dozo.
Oh, I know...sorry to be sensitive about how I like show tunes. ;)

UR: Don't tell anyone but I really got off on Mamma Mia!

"Send in the Double Downs..."
LOL!!

That reminds me, Vegan Week ends in about five more hours.
I wonder how late KFC is open...

I love the Obama/Jon Stewart one, but they were all great. Guess the cartoonists had lots of inspiration this week. Thanks for the funny round-up.

Linda: Yeah I guess there were Dems who had to beat-le it out of DC.

Jayne: Oh I think voting day presented them with a field day. I guess not even a last minute appearance on The Daily Show saved Obama's Democrats.
Too bad Jon Stewart wasn't a candidate... I'd vote for him!

Boom Boom: Amazing how he and Colbert attracted so many people to their Washington rally. People are obviously looking for something else.

The Polka Dot Door

A long time ago, when I was 22, my first child was born.  That kid grew up on a little Canadian kid's show called Polka Dot Door, produced by the TV Ontario network.  And Dad, more often than not, sat through those shows with his little one. Nine or so years later when a brother, and a year after that when a sister came along number one son was moving on to Knight Rider and The Dukes of Hazzard.  But there was a nice overlap where his siblings picked up where he had left off with Polka Dot Door.  And Dad was right there to welcome them. So you're looking at a Polka Dot Door veteran.  The show began in 1971 and ran to 1993.  I didn't watch the full run but I did get in my fair share.  The formula was pretty simple.  A young male and female host, which seemed to change every week, sang songs, told stories, made crafts and generally did their best stimulate little brains.  The show opened as follows... Imagination Day!  Oh boy!  You know what happens on Imagination D
