Keeping Abreast of Victoria Secret

Gentlemen, say hello to Adriana. She's modelling Victoria Secret's Bombshell Fantasy Bra. I think it worked. I'm shell-shocked.

Victoria Secret does this every year. To draw attention to their holiday collection - and they've certainly got my attention - they unveil a multi-million dollar jewel-encrusted over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder.

Ladies, this can be yours for only a cool $2 million. That's a deal. These special puppy catchers have come down in price since Gisele Bundchen (Tom Brady's better half, although my wife thinks his better half is his butt in football pants) bounced on the scene in a Red Hot Fantasy Bra and Panties that went for a cool $15,000,000. Oh, I might just have a picture of that.

But now I wonder just how many women would buy this stuff? It's an awful lot of money to pay for something that's going to be worn under their clothes. Then again, it seems to work for Adriana doesn't it? She doesn't wear it under her clothes. Oh, did I show you her picture?

She's pretty, huh? Looking at her just gives me an uplifting kind of feeling.

And, hey, if any woman wants to wear that Bombshell Bra in public, they've got my support!

Now, come on, that gem crusted bra is just silly! It wou'd make a mess of my cashmere sweater. If I had one of those sets, I'd wear it on my head like a tiara. And I wouldn't care what anyone thought because if I could afford bejewelled knickers, I could afford to buy people's favourable opinion too! - G

Whoa! Look at those 'Bouncing Betties! I guess if I had a pair of those, I'd probably dress 'em up too!

So, do they make stuff for men? You know, like an under-the-butt-nut-net? Jewel encrusted, of course.

Finally! Nomie does his Breast Cancer Awareness post.

That IS what this is, right?

Ha!

G; You'd wear it on your head? You're kinda kinky.

00dozo: hahaha. I'm at a loss for words.

Quirks; Oh absolutely. That's exactly where I was going with this. I'm all for breast awareness. Oh, breast cancer awareness? Oh, yeah, that too..
So, is this what you're getting the Mrs. for Christmas this year? I'm sure she'll be thrilled!

Boom Boom: I'm afraid it's a tad out of my price range. Now if I could come up with a picture of Tom Brady's behind in football pants...

I've got only eight words to say about this. "Holy crap!" I lost count after two...sorry but the testosterone kicked in again.

Don: Sorry I posted that picture twice. Still, nice pair...of pictures, don't you think?

Linda: Sorry, you've kinda caught me "in my cups".

I'll wear it if you but it for me;)

Um, Dufe, I hate to break it to you, but they ain't real. They would never let her wear the real gems outside like that :-)
nonamedufus said…
Brookeamanda: Yeah, sure. But you may have to wait awhile before I win the lottery.
nonamedufus said…
Nicky: Oh, the gems you mean?

I have to brag: my breasts look like that too, when cantilevered up with support garments. It's the rest of me that keeps me from the modeling gigs.

Oh, and here's an early holiday present for Mrs. Dufus:

She's welcome!
Thank you, NoName. Just thank you.

P.S. -- Sorry I've been gone so long. Had a few problems to deal with, as you know. Things are looking up again, and I hope to be more regular.

KABLOOEY: Thank you! She's certainly a happy camper this morning. But now I can't get her away from my computer screen and there's drool all over my keyboard. "Go to work, dear."

Mike: You are a true lover of art. An admirer of figure and form. Oh, and I hear more fibre in your diet will assist with that "more regular" thing. Seriously, glad to hear things are looking up.

KaLynn: Hey, it's what I do. You're welcome. Thanks for stopping by.

The Polka Dot Door

A long time ago, when I was 22, my first child was born.  That kid grew up on a little Canadian kid's show called Polka Dot Door, produced by the TV Ontario network.  And Dad, more often than not, sat through those shows with his little one. Nine or so years later when a brother, and a year after that when a sister came along number one son was moving on to Knight Rider and The Dukes of Hazzard.  But there was a nice overlap where his siblings picked up where he had left off with Polka Dot Door.  And Dad was right there to welcome them. So you're looking at a Polka Dot Door veteran.  The show began in 1971 and ran to 1993.  I didn't watch the full run but I did get in my fair share.  The formula was pretty simple.  A young male and female host, which seemed to change every week, sang songs, told stories, made crafts and generally did their best stimulate little brains.  The show opened as follows... Imagination Day!  Oh boy!  You know what happens on Imagination D

My Back Pages - November

I know, I know, I know I should have reported in before now. But sometimes real life just gets in the way. I attempted 5 books in November. I say attempted because I slapped a big DNF (did not finish) on Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon. I just can't seem to get into this guy. It's the second or third of his I've given up on, Not so the other four, starting with a biography of Stephen Stills called Change Partners. This followed by a hilarious biography of the guy responsible for National Lampoon called A Stupid and Futile Gesture - How Doug Kenney and National Lampoon Changed Comedy Forever. I ended the month reading yet another biography, this one of the man behind Rolling Stone magazine,. It was called Sticky Fingers: The Life and Times of Jann Wenner and Rolling Stone Magazine. A fascinating read. So last month I hit the magic number 50 I'd imagined for myself back in January. If I roll this month into my yearly total I'm at 54 books. And I still hav
