Pause Ponder and Poopy Head

You guys came up with a lot of funny crap this week.  I can't believe how funny you guys are.  You all could get jobs with Hallmark...or Mad Magazine!

For example, Jeremy from We Took The Bait trotted out with:

The perfect head accessory for the person who like to occasionally take their hat, place it in a paper bag, set it on fire, and toss it on their neighbour's doorstep.

Leeuna squeezed one with:

Rumour has it that Sarah Palin has already tossed her hat into the ring for the 2012 presidential election.

Murr Brewster left this deposit:

Please note: the white dog turd chapoo is not available after Labour Day.

And Tgoette passed this one along:

Before Harvey's new hat design became such a smash success, he was just a lonely guy with a Great Dane.

But it was Mike at Too Many Mornings who ripped a winner with:

Tommy greatly preferred being a shithead to being shit-faced, which always left a bad taste in his mouth.

Way to go everyone.  You're all full of shit!  And Mike, you be hangin' with the dufus this week!

By the way, Mike calls himself "MikeWJ" and you can find out why in a fascinating story here.

I woke up this morning with this caption, so I gotta go ahead and put it out there...

"Not to be outdone by the Tea Baggers, the Shit Baggers were protesting irregularity in government."

Whew, now I feel better.

Holy shit, NoName, thanks for the award! It's always an honor to be hanging with you, dude. Where you find these pictures, though, really puzzles me. And frightens me.

Sunday Funnies

The Polka Dot Door

A long time ago, when I was 22, my first child was born.  That kid grew up on a little Canadian kid's show called Polka Dot Door, produced by the TV Ontario network.  And Dad, more often than not, sat through those shows with his little one. Nine or so years later when a brother, and a year after that when a sister came along number one son was moving on to Knight Rider and The Dukes of Hazzard.  But there was a nice overlap where his siblings picked up where he had left off with Polka Dot Door.  And Dad was right there to welcome them. So you're looking at a Polka Dot Door veteran.  The show began in 1971 and ran to 1993.  I didn't watch the full run but I did get in my fair share.  The formula was pretty simple.  A young male and female host, which seemed to change every week, sang songs, told stories, made crafts and generally did their best stimulate little brains.  The show opened as follows... Imagination Day!  Oh boy!  You know what happens on Imagination D
