You need a portable TV. Or a virtual golf course.
Playing golf might lead to frustration. Then again, watching your favorite team lose on the TV might be frustrating too. This might be a lose-lose situation.

Yeah it'd be hard to drag a 50" TV around the golf course.

More often than not golf leads to frustration. At least when I golf.

Very frustrating, but I don't have the same problems. I do neither ;)
nonamedufus said…
Well, I can't find anyone to play golf with me so It's going to be football.

We should try rigging one up to the back of a cart.

There ya go. Poof! Frustration problem solved.

Bahahahahah! I love the idea of a virtual golf course. I might actually break even on one of those.

Before I read the comments, I was going to say if it's nice out, record the game and get out on the links while you can. (We always record NASCAR but don't always watch it the same day so I'm on a complete social media and news blackout until I've seen it. Lemme tell ya, that's hellish.)

I do virtual golf in the winter. I'm not much better.
nonamedufus said…
Something tells me it'd take a long time to play a round.
nonamedufus said…
Ah, but I'm playing fantasy football. If my various players don't perform I'll be frustrated.
babs (beetle) said…
That's a good choice then ;)
nonamedufus said…
I couldn't do that. I'm sure I'd accidentally come across the score on the internet.

Tough choices. My friend Arthur Ritus prevents me from playing golf so I don't have to choose.
Nora Blithe said…
Lol, I'll leave the golf to you. My blood pressure can't take it.
nonamedufus said…
I've only been playing for about 4 years but I love it.
ReformingGeek said…
Go practice putting and then return for the football. Wait. This could lead to double frustration.

I hope your day up there is a gorgeous as ours down here in Texas. Wow!

Rough life you lead, mon ami. Very frustrating. I don't know how you manage. ;-)
Ziva said…
Oh my, life is full of difficult choices, my friend. You better make the right one, or you'll regret it forever.... or at least for a few minutes.
Cheryl P. said…
Just one of life's challenges. I can tell that all your blog readers are feeling really badly for you.
nonamedufus said…
11 degrees celsius and cloudy. I think watching football in my warm den was the right choice.
nonamedufus said…
Oh, I tell you, life can be so hard some times. So many choices.
nonamedufus said…
Well if I had gone golfing I would have gone by myself. So I decided to watch football...um. by myself.
nonamedufus said…
Aw, thanks for understanding everyone!
nonamedufus said…
Yeah, but my dear wife keeps interrupting me.
babs (beetle) said…
A woman's prerogative ;)
nonamedufus said…
Poor Mrs D. She calls herself a football widow.

Tough choice !
nonamedufus said…
Finally, someone who understands me and the challenging dilemmas I face. Thank you.

Ha! The frustration of having two exciting things to choose between!
nonamedufus said…
Right. It can get very frustrating!
nonamedufus said…
At the same time? I'd need a teeny tiny TV on the golf course.
nonamedufus said…
I know, eh. But I decided to stay in and watch football as the golf course is a fair way away.
nonamedufus said…
Well you must have the latest in video recorders. I got nuttin'.
nonamedufus said…
Well, that's not fun.
Cheryl said…
No but Rick & I want to watch them together and sometimes that means waiting. I'd rather go on the blackout and enjoy the races together.
nonamedufus said…
We already watch too much stuff on TV. I'd never find the time to watch something I'd recorded.
Lauren said…
What did you end up doing?
Lauren said…
Just saw your response to Mike.
nonamedufus said…
I watched football. Although, I'm coming down with a cold and slept through much of it.
nonamedufus said…
It is sometimes you know. It's tough.
P.J. said…
If you get an early enough tee time, do them both! Then no frustration. Well, depending on your game and favorite team, in which case it could be a double dose of frustration!

Sunday Funnies

The Polka Dot Door

A long time ago, when I was 22, my first child was born.  That kid grew up on a little Canadian kid's show called Polka Dot Door, produced by the TV Ontario network.  And Dad, more often than not, sat through those shows with his little one. Nine or so years later when a brother, and a year after that when a sister came along number one son was moving on to Knight Rider and The Dukes of Hazzard.  But there was a nice overlap where his siblings picked up where he had left off with Polka Dot Door.  And Dad was right there to welcome them. So you're looking at a Polka Dot Door veteran.  The show began in 1971 and ran to 1993.  I didn't watch the full run but I did get in my fair share.  The formula was pretty simple.  A young male and female host, which seemed to change every week, sang songs, told stories, made crafts and generally did their best stimulate little brains.  The show opened as follows... Imagination Day!  Oh boy!  You know what happens on Imagination D
