I'm guessing your car goes WAY faster than mine.
nonamedufus said…
Well I don't have an axe under my front seat to weigh me down.
mike said…
I'm glad you didn't take the picture showing the speedometer hitting 100km/hr
nonamedufus said…
Maybe I'll do that for Day 30.
Ziva said…
Huh, how come the speedometer is NOT hitting 100 km/h?
Laughing Mom said…
Maybe it idles really fast...
nonamedufus said…
It's broken.
nonamedufus said…
Yeah, that's it. Like me.
Unfinished Person said…
Ah ha. That's what I was wondering too.

most excellent!

Ok, ok the care was parked in my driveway. But the ignition switch was on. It's all about potential.
nonamedufus said…
Unlike you I still have gas. Um, my car that is.
nonamedufus said…
Well I won't discuss the other gas. That's personal.

Is it me or does that red light on the right look like a camera?
nonamedufus said…
It's you. Well the red light on the right isn't you, of course. You now what I mean.
Margaret said…
Are you parked? I wanted to see you snap a shot of you going 180 mph (I don't know what that is in kilometers - you do kilos right? Aren't we the only idiots using miles?). I wonder if cops let you take pictures of them handing you a ticket.
nonamedufus said…
Yes. Yes. Yes. I don't know.
nonamedufus said…
I think it's the battery indicator light.
Katherine said…
Ha ha ...faster than my Nissan minivan lol!
Cheryl P. said…
I like the Margaret's idea. Let's see if the local cops there are open to the idea of having their picture taken to illustrate "fast".
nonamedufus said…
Well, if thinks don't work out can you spearhead my bail efforts?
Lauren said…
Did you crop, sharpen or retouch? I think there should be a disclaimer with each picture. It looks like the car is staring back at you.

Love the Groucho quote. Never heard it before.

Race you to the corner!!

Coco said…
I can't see your photo for today for some reason. It went away too fast????
Coco said…
I was able to see it from IE. Good to know you took this when you park. :)
Cheryl P. said…
Sure thing, I would be right on it.

I do love a little hyperbole to start my day!

(Are you going to post PPP over on some other site you own? I'm just starting to get the hang of it & I'll surely lose my edge if I have to wait until November to play again.)
nonamedufus said…
That's weird. Are you on a computer or phone?
nonamedufus said…
Great! Yes, I took this standing still.
nonamedufus said…
Oh, um, never.
nonamedufus said…
You're on. Let me just put on my seatbelt.
nonamedufus said…
No, none of those things. Used my trusty iPhone camera.
nonamedufus said…
Ok, then. I'm on it.
nonamedufus said…
I'm gonna post it right here, this afternoon.

The Polka Dot Door

A long time ago, when I was 22, my first child was born.  That kid grew up on a little Canadian kid's show called Polka Dot Door, produced by the TV Ontario network.  And Dad, more often than not, sat through those shows with his little one. Nine or so years later when a brother, and a year after that when a sister came along number one son was moving on to Knight Rider and The Dukes of Hazzard.  But there was a nice overlap where his siblings picked up where he had left off with Polka Dot Door.  And Dad was right there to welcome them. So you're looking at a Polka Dot Door veteran.  The show began in 1971 and ran to 1993.  I didn't watch the full run but I did get in my fair share.  The formula was pretty simple.  A young male and female host, which seemed to change every week, sang songs, told stories, made crafts and generally did their best stimulate little brains.  The show opened as follows... Imagination Day!  Oh boy! ...

I Am Charlie, I'm A Bore

Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, Colin Farrel...you know the list, it goes on and on. The list of Hollywood hick-ups who not content to meltdown behind closed doors have to drag each and every detail out into the light of day and share it with all of us. Well, add Charlie Sheen to that luckless and lascivious list of losers. In the past few days he's been on every major media soapbox complaining abut how he's been treated and how he's misunderstood. Last night he spent an hour on ABC's 20/20 "in his own words". Charlie, you should have stuck to the script. "I have a highly evolved brain". You know I never did like that song by Helen Reddy in the 70s "I Am Woman". But I have to say the melody really leant itself well to a parody of Hollywood's latest flame-out, Charlie Sheen. Although I never thought I'd hear myself say this, my sincerest apologies to Helen Reddy. And now if you're ready (a little play on wor...
