Favorite one this week: The GOP diversity one. So, so true. :( Another sad one: the Joe Paterno one. I live in northcentral Pennsylvania and that one you'd never see in one of our papers. The editors would be lynched if they printed that. Again :( but true.

Thanks for updating me on what happened in the news while I was off camping! (I always like getting my news from the cartoons and Jon Stewart.)

I liked that GOP one too. But I also liked the RIM is toast one.

Where better to get your news than from editorial cartoons?

I'm all over the "everything is bad for me" one.

I figured that out a long time ago. Everyday "a new study has shown" that EVERYTHING is bad for you.

Gah.

Just give me a DDP. heh heh

And I thought the first Mick Jagger one was especially funny.

"He's the got the moves like Jagger." I don't think THIS is what Adam Levine meant whilst singing his ear-worm song. heh heh

Who knew sitting was bad for you? I should be dead.

Loved GOP diversity. I'll delete "short white guy" from the GOP intolerant list. At least, it reinforces the fact that size doesn't matter among a certain demographic.

Trump cartoon - priceless!

Yeah, that Trump cartoon was funny.

The Polka Dot Door

A long time ago, when I was 22, my first child was born.  That kid grew up on a little Canadian kid's show called Polka Dot Door, produced by the TV Ontario network.  And Dad, more often than not, sat through those shows with his little one. Nine or so years later when a brother, and a year after that when a sister came along number one son was moving on to Knight Rider and The Dukes of Hazzard.  But there was a nice overlap where his siblings picked up where he had left off with Polka Dot Door.  And Dad was right there to welcome them. So you're looking at a Polka Dot Door veteran.  The show began in 1971 and ran to 1993.  I didn't watch the full run but I did get in my fair share.  The formula was pretty simple.  A young male and female host, which seemed to change every week, sang songs, told stories, made crafts and generally did their best stimulate little brains.  The show opened as follows... Imagination Day!  Oh boy!  You know what happens on Imagination D
