Pause Ponder and Pun #132

Anybody hungry enough to win our little contest this week?

Leave as many captions as you like in the comments.

We'll iron things out Saturday when we announce a winner.

Oh, and happy 4th of July to my American blog buddies!

How many of you guys will be dancing with pigs today to celebrate that thing called "in de pen dance"?

What good is all that magnetism when you're still a slave to the good 'ol watchband?

I've got an iron-clad alibi. And so do the forks. They were with me when that little "accidental" death by bricks happened.

He can polish your silver, iron your blouses and build you a house - all while dancing a jazz number.

AGT ( Asia's Got Talent) didn't quite produce the quality acts like AGT ( America's Got Talent) did!

Paroxysm Paradox

The weather was unseasonably warm for October. The sun set around 6:30 but the daylight hours were quite enjoyable. So thought Richard, as he set out for his daily walk in the woods. He marvelled at the turning leaves which exhibited an explosion of colour more significant with each passing day.

But Richard knew the turning leaves would soon start to fall. And the trees would soon be bare with no leaves at all. And then the snow would fly and fall from the trees as the leaves had before it.

Richard couldn't help but think of the sudden change to come as a seizure of sorts. And he wasn't looking forward to it. After all, who would welcome a seizure, he thought, as he rolled uncontrollably among the leaves.

This week paroxysm/seizure was the prompt at Two Word Tuesday.

Times Are So Tough...
