I thought about doing that too! :)

have you considered treating those piggies to a pedicure - they will thank you for it!
nonamedufus said…
Well, I'm just trying to put my best foot forward.
nonamedufus said…
I've clipped my nails since that photo was taken. Just so you know.

I'm design that I've seen that foot somewhere before...it's like déjà vu all over again...
Katherine said…
I was gonna do that, but remembered I have six toes. LOL! This picture makes me wanna say, "this little piggy went to market..."
nonamedufus said…
You put your right foot in, you take your right foot out...
Ziva said…
Yep, definitely five! You know, I think MikeWJ might only have four toes on his right foot...

Did you ever wonder why they call it a Tootsie Roll? I mean it has absolutely nothing to do with feet. The sections don't look like toes at all. There are no nails in the candy. And how could eating a foot be appetizing. I don't get it. Really? Mike has four toes?
Coco said…
I thought of doing it with my hand but I didn't. I like the way you did it with your foot!
nonamedufus said…
I thought of doing my hand too. Great minds think alike, huh?
Ziva said…
Some people might argue that sucking on a toe or two is very appetizing. Maybe the Tootsie Roll is the food of foot fetishists.
nonamedufus said…
Really? I'd want to make sure they washed their feet first. I'm just not into toe jam.

I was going to suggest a pedicure too!

For some reason I'm thinking of Tiny Tim...

omg I hate feet soooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

/runs away screaming
MikeWJ said…
I'm with you when it comes to feet, Monique.

I do like feet in black high heels, though. Maybe a black pencil skirt, white blouse, pencil tucked into the tight bun at the back of her head...

Oh, sorry. I sort of drifted there. Hazard of being an erotic fiction writer, I suppose.

I do my hand all the time. So taking a photo of it seemed pretty boring, especially compared to NoName, who did his foot instead. I'm not nearly that limber.
MikeWJ said…
Weird coincidence. I just read last week that the inventor of Tootsie Rolls named his candy not for toes, but for his 5-year-old daughter. Her name was Clara, but her nickname was Tootsie. So there you go.

And you're right, Ziva, my left foot only has four toes. I had five originally, but my college sweetheart got a little rambunctious one night and bit one off.

*shudder*
Linda Medrano said…
That really is a good looking foot,. I hope the other one is just as good.
nonamedufus said…
My work here is done.
nonamedufus said…
Now if the prompt had have been black stilettos I would have had a very different photo today.
nonamedufus said…
I have to hand it to you Mike, that's a great comment.
nonamedufus said…
Aren't you the smart one. Did you ever wonder where Tootsie in Toot-Toot-Tootsie Goodbye came from?
nonamedufus said…
,,,and you shake it all about
nonamedufus said…
Sorry to have left" the other one out, Linda.
Paula Wooters said…
Are you trying to give us a low five (instead of a high five)?
ann tracy said…
Guess we both went for the same shot.. wondered how many of us there would be
Cheryl said…
Maryse must be thrilled to be living with a foot fetishist. I just looked at the list of prompts and I'm fairly certain you can use you foot for about 6 or 7 more.
Cheryl said…
I shudder to think what that might have been.
nonamedufus said…
Are you my arch enemy?
nonamedufus said…
Hey, that's quite a feat that we'd both think of that.
nonamedufus said…
Oh, I wouldn't do that. People would think I'm a real heel.
nonamedufus said…
Actually there are no stilettos in the house. Mrs D prefers pumps. Me, I'm partial to deygo boots. Wherever I go, deygo!
Jamie Baker said…
I think everyone else has this uncovered foot covered. Besides, I'm at more of loss right now than Mike's left foot.
nonamedufus said…
If the shoe fits...
ladyV said…
ha! this gave me a good laugh. those are 5 little piggies.
nonamedufus said…
Yes, indeed and they went wee wee wee all the way home.

The Polka Dot Door

A long time ago, when I was 22, my first child was born.  That kid grew up on a little Canadian kid's show called Polka Dot Door, produced by the TV Ontario network.  And Dad, more often than not, sat through those shows with his little one. Nine or so years later when a brother, and a year after that when a sister came along number one son was moving on to Knight Rider and The Dukes of Hazzard.  But there was a nice overlap where his siblings picked up where he had left off with Polka Dot Door.  And Dad was right there to welcome them. So you're looking at a Polka Dot Door veteran.  The show began in 1971 and ran to 1993.  I didn't watch the full run but I did get in my fair share.  The formula was pretty simple.  A young male and female host, which seemed to change every week, sang songs, told stories, made crafts and generally did their best stimulate little brains.  The show opened as follows... Imagination Day!  Oh boy! ...

Hello Goodbye

Today a bit of a reflective piece. Rather than being funny, this is  about the funny. It's a day of mixed emotion at nonamedufus . You see, after several months of inactivity I've dropped a couple of former blogger buddies off my blog roll. I kept hanging on and hanging on hoping they'd return to active blogging but, alas, after waiting in one case five months I've decided to let them go. I'm going to miss - going to? I have been missing - Margo at the Screaming Me-Me . She was one funny lady. From time to time she and I would engage in a feud or two for several days at a time but it was all in fun both for us and, I think, for our readers. And we'd leave each other funny comments, poking fun at each other. I miss her friendship and our humorous exchanges. The other blogger I'm letting go is Chelle, The Offended Blogger . Chelle was a special lady. In addition to her own blog she created and managed Humor Bloggers Dot Com where humour bloggers like m...

The Dangling Conversation

There's a debate underway in my household between my wife and I. I say "underway" because it hasn't quite reached the "raging" stage. If you want raging, my wife (a Francophone) and I (an Anglophone) from time to time (usually in a weak moment of my own making) slip into our number one discussion around why we don't speak more French at home - ergo - when am I, a former public servant who learned French at the expense of our gracious taxpayers and was technically rated bilingual (even though I hardly used it), going to improve my use of Canada's other language? This one never gets resolved, hence it's ongoing nature. But the current debate is over a remark I casually made the other day. I'm no geek, but with a lot of time on my hands I surf the web, converse on Facebook and such and - I have to admit - "I'm nonamedufus and I'm a Twitterholic". In an epiphany-like moment I was struck by the apparent impact of social networkin...
