Philippe and Laurel were in town this weekend and we spent a gorgeous morning at the Ti-Mousse sugar bush in Papineauville. An all-you-can-eat breakfast was on tap which included ham, potatoes, eggs, home-made preserves, "oreilles-de-christ" and , of course, pancakes and maple syrup. There appeared to be some mixed reactions over breakfast. Some seemed more excited than others... There was an interesting collection of antique wood-cutting implements in the room where the maple sap is boiled... And you don't go to the sugar bush without trying some "tire sur la neige"...
